Shailesh V. Haribhakti

Chairman of the Board

Five decades in the boardroom. Over 100 boards. Now chairing ours.

Shailesh V. Haribhakti chairs the Vantrock board. He has spent more than five decades advising boards, institutions and regulators on governance, and has served on the boards of over 100 organisations across financial services, technology, infrastructure, education and clean energy — among them Adani Power, TVS Motor, Swiggy, Bajaj Electricals, Protean e-Gov Technologies,
Continuum Green Energy and a Brookfield REIT.

He topped the country in the ISC examination in 1971, studied at Sydenham College and Lala Lajpat Rai College, and was a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant by twenty-two. At Arthur Young & Co. in Chicago he became India’s first Certified Internal Auditor. He grew his own firm two-thousand-fold, chaired the global accounting networks BDO, Baker Tilly and Moores
Rowland, chaired the NPS Trust constituted by the PFRDA, taught at IIM Ahmedabad, and served on SEBI’s Committee on Disclosures and Accounting Standards and the IASB’s Standards Advisory Council.

In 2018, past sixty, he taught himself physics, chemistry and biology in order to understand exponential technologies properly — and has since become one of India’s foremost voices on ESG, Integrated Reporting and the application of AI inside organisations. He has co-authored books on governance, technology and sustainability, holds an honorary Doctor of Letters from ITM University, and works to a stated mission of improving governance across five thousand boards worldwide.

At Vantrock — he chairs a platform intending to be permanent, and his philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family — is the older name for what we call Dharmic Stewardship. He is not an ornament on the letterhead; he is the standard the board is held to.

Anshul Singhal

Founder & CEO

Three platforms built from zero. 52 million sq ft delivered. Approximately ₹14,250 crore of real assets.

Anshul Singhal founded Vantrock and leads it as Founder & CEO. Over two decades he has built three institutional platforms from zero and is building the fourth on his own capital. His record runs to 52 million sq ft delivered (32 million as developer, 20 million as contractor), approximately ₹14,250 crore, approximately USD 1.6 billion, of real assets, more than 200 buildings, more than 2,000 acres acquired, all litigation-free, and a solar plant of approximately 130 MWp (100 MW AC).

Before Vantrock he was founding CEO of JSW Severfield Structures and of the Warburg Pincus-backed Embassy Industrial Parks, and co-founder and CEO of Welspun One. At 25, at JSW Severfield Structures, the structural-steel joint venture between the JSW Group and the UK’s Severfield Rowen, he commissioned India’s most advanced steel-fabrication plant, built from zero, and delivered more than 40 EPC projects and 20 million sq ft, including the Reliance Jio headquarters (1.2 million sq ft in 48 weeks), the Mumbai Airport air traffic control tower, Godrej Heavy Engineering at Dahej and NTPC. At 31, at Embassy Industrial Parks, backed by Warburg Pincus, he entered warehousing in 2014, built 12.99 million sq ft as principal and took the platform to 17 million sq ft at exit, when Blackstone acquired it for ₹5,250 crore, India’s largest industrial real estate exit. Renamed Horizon Industrial Parks, it stands at 58 million sq ft and was listed on 24 August 2026. Alongside it he carried a solar plant of approximately 130 MWp (100 MW AC) in Karnataka from land to grid, and sold it into the Embassy REIT. At 36, through One Space Development Management LLP, now Vantrock Ventures, he founded One Industrial Spaces, backed by the Welspun Group from December 2019 as Welspun One. He ran two SEBI Category II funds to a successful close, India’s first domestic warehousing AIF among them, totalling ₹2,775 crore from around 1,000 investors, with peak assets under management of approximately ₹10,500 crore in six years. The platform built 19 million sq ft across more than 650 acres and realised exits including one to Mapletree. He exited in April 2026, selling his stake back with both funds performing. Private equity in, private equity out, a REIT, a listing, two funds and an institutional buyer. The exits are the record.

What he visualised is now being executed: India’s largest single-location Grade-A park at JNPA (approximately 4.45 million sq ft, 55 acres, about ₹2,700 crore) and World Trade Center Thane (14 levels, approximately 1 million sq ft, about ₹800 crore), alongside World Trade Center Nhava Sheva, the first time a logistics developer in India has secured the World Trade Center brand. India’s largest Delhivery sort centre at Bhiwandi was delivered under his leadership.

There is a pattern across everything he has built. It continues to grow after he leaves. He pursued a BSc in Economics at Georgia College & State University, USA, and is now pursuing the Owner/President Management programme at Harvard Business School. He chairs the ASSOCHAM National Council for Logistics & Warehousing, is a past Chairperson of the CII Warehousing National Network, and is a member of YPO, RICS and the GRI Club.

Siddharth Parekh

Member Of Advisory Board

Two decades investing in emerging markets. Fifteen companies backed. Now backing ours.

Siddharth Parekh is a member of Advisory Board at Vantrock. He is Co-Founder and Senior Partner of Paragon Partners, the India-focused growth capital private equity firm he established in 2015, which has invested in 15 companies across its two funds — among them InCred Capital, Maini Precision, GoBolt, mCaffeine and Saarathi Finance.

He brings over 22 years across the US, UK and India, most of it investing in emerging markets. Before Paragon he was a Principal at Actis in Mumbai, having joined its London office in 2008 with a focus on financial services; earlier he was an Investment Analyst at the International Finance Corporation, investing across global manufacturing and services, and spent two years as a Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in New York. He is an active angel investor in fintech, consumer and healthcare start-ups in India.

He holds an MBA and a Master's in International Affairs from Columbia University, and a bachelor's degree in finance and management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Siddharth Parekh

Rajendra Mehta

Non-Executive Director

Three decades building the people's agenda of Indian industry. Now holding ours to a standard.

Rajendra Mehta brings the people and talent agenda to the Vantrock board. A human resources leader for more than thirty years, he has built the people and culture function of large organisations across India and abroad - most recently as President and Group CHRO of Suzlon Group and, before that, of the Welspun Group. His earlier roles include Chief People Officer at DHFL and Zee Entertainment, Head of Human Resources at DCM Shriram, and HR leadership at Times Internet, with formative years at KEC International and Larsen & Toubro.

His approach is hypothesis-driven, metric-led and outcome-oriented: culture treated as a system that drives the business, not a programme that decorates it. He has mentored ventures from their incubation stage, and has been recognised with the National Award for Excellence in Talent Management and the Global HR Excellence Award.

At Vantrock - most companies discover their culture years in, by accident. His seat on this board exists so that ours is designed - deliberately, from the first hire, and measured like everything else the platform runs.

Vinayak G. Thorat

Director & Investment Committee Member

Twenty-five years turning industrial ambition into buildings that hold up.

Vinayak G. Thorat is Vantrock’s Director & Investment Committee Member. He is Director–Architect and Head of the West and North Region at Venkataramanan Associates, where he built the firm’s western design studio from scratch, and brings more than 25 years delivering large-scale, technically complex developments across India — industrial and logistics parks, manufacturing facilities, data centres, research laboratories, information technology facilities, institutional campuses and mixed-use developments, for leading Indian and multinational organisations.

He graduated from Pune University and holds a Master’s in Building Engineering and Management from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi — ranking first in both programmes. His portfolio includes award-winning buildings delivered to LEED and IGBC standards.

At Vantrock — the asset classes India is now racing toward — data centres, advanced manufacturing and research facilities — are ones he has already designed and delivered. Vantrock does not have to learn them on a live site.

Vinayak G. Thorat

Sachit Mathur

Non-Executive & Independent Director

India’s land law, learnt the hard way — over twenty years and thousands of acres.

Sachit Mathur is a Non-Executive & Independent Director on the Vantrock board. He is Founding & Managing Partner of Emerald Law Offices, a ten-partner firm across New Delhi and Bengaluru, and one of India's most sought-after real estate and infrastructure lawyers. Over more than twenty years he has advised developers, institutional investors, funds and multinationals across the full lifecycle of a project — acquisitions, joint ventures, development structuring, leasing, construction contracts, fund raising and disputes.

In the last eighteen months alone, his team has acted for several of India's largest listed developers and institutional platforms on land acquisitions in NCR unlocking millions of square feet of development potential — including enforcement proceedings, government e-auction purchases and joint-venture structuring — alongside a 120-acre industrial park joint venture in the South and warehousing acquisitions in emerging corridors.

He works the same ground in energy: title and regulatory mandates covering more than 25,000 acres and 300-plus wind sites for leading renewable-energy platforms across Rajasthan, Karnataka, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Before founding Emerald he spent more than fifteen years as a Partner at Luthra & Luthra. He is recognised by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, IFLR1000 and Asia Law, and holds a B.Com (Hons) and an LL.B. from Delhi University.

At Vantrock — the risks that decide whether an Indian industrial project works — title, structure, regulation — are the ones he has spent twenty years resolving for others. He now judges ours from the one seat built for judgment: independent of management, answerable to the standard.

Nowshad Rizwanullah

Chief Executive Officer, Vantrock Intelligence

Yale, Harvard, and two decades of building things that scale. Now building our brain.

Nowshad Rizwanullah leads Vantrock Intelligence, the AI-native operating layer — the platform’s brain. A technology entrepreneur and business leader, he brings more than two decades across startups, investing, technology and corporate strategy in global markets. He co-founded and led MissMalini Entertainment through its growth and acquisition, and has held roles at InMobi, Nomura and Mahindra & Mahindra. He holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

His brief is not software for a real asset business. It is the technology, systems and operating models that decide how one runs — from investment decision-making through development to long-term asset management.

At Vantrock — he has built a company and sold it, priced assets from the investing side, and worked inside global technology at scale. That combination is why the intelligence layer is being designed by someone who understands the business it serves, not bought from someone who doesn’t.

Nowshad Rizwanullah

Samiksha Gupta

Chief Growth Officer

Samiksha Gupta is Vantrock's Chief Growth Officer and part of the founding team. Her mandate covers how the market understands Vantrock, and whether the institution underneath is built to carry it.

She owns the platform's positioning and market narrative, and she sets the standard for everything that goes out under the Vantrock name. She leads growth across the customer, landowner and investor audiences, and works with the founder on what takes a new platform to an established one, which in practice means the operating architecture, the governance and the organisation design that let Vantrock grow without loosening its standard.

Before Vantrock she spent four years at Welspun One Logistics Parks. She joined to establish the technology function and left as Chief of Staff and Head of Digital. She led the redesign of the operating model and built the performance dashboard that became the platform's single source of truth for leadership, investors and customers. As Head of Marketing and Communications she rebuilt the team and the brand narrative, and set marketing up as a growth function rather than a support one. Eventuality she moved to the commercial side and worked with the Chief Commercial Officer on the sales operating model and the launch of the platform's flagship product. She was the youngest of twenty-five leaders chosen for the Welspun Group Leadership Programme, and holds Welspun World's Emerging Women Leader award.

She began at Deloitte Consulting in digital strategy and transformation, and spent two years as a brand strategist at Leo Burnett. She is an electronics engineer from the University of Mumbai, with executive certification from IIM Ahmedabad.

At Vantrock she is building the machinery of a platform from the inside. Here she is building it from the first day, which is why the standard is set before the scale arrives.

Hardik Patel

Vice President, Investments

₹9,000 crore of assets managed. HSBC before that. He does the maths that decides.

Hardik Patel sits on Vantrock’s Investments team, working across underwriting, financial modelling, due diligence, deal structuring and the Investment Committee process. He brings over eight years across real estate investments and investment banking.

He spent three and a half years at Welspun One Logistics Parks, most recently as General Manager, evaluating brownfield and greenfield opportunities, working on transactions exceeding ₹1,000 crore and managing a portfolio valued at over ₹9,000 crore — more than seven million sq ft of assets across India. Earlier he spent four and a half years in HSBC’s Investment Banking division on leveraged buyout and M&A transactions for leading global private equity firms across technology, consumer, building materials and real estate.

He holds an MBA in Finance from SIBM Pune and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and has passed Level II of the CFA Program.

At Vantrock — he is an engineer who became an investment banker who became a real estate investor, so he reads the building and the model as one thing. Underwriting a warehouse badly usually starts with someone who can only read the second.

Hardik Patel

Rohan Patil

AVP, Design & Engineering

50 million sq ft engineered and costed.

Rohan Patil leads Design & Engineering at Vantrock. A structural engineer by training and temperament, he brings 20 years across steel and RCC structures, PEB, pre-tender and value engineering, constructability and design optimisation — and has engineered and costed more than 50 million sq ft of commercial, industrial, data centre and institutional development.

He spent over a decade at JSW Severfield Structures — the JSW–Severfield joint venture that Vantrock's founder launched as his first platform — rising to head its pre-tender design and engineering function, where every proposal began with the question he now asks for Vantrock: what should this building be, and what should it cost? His project record runs across the asset classes India is now building fastest: data centres for Reliance Jio at Jamnagar and Nagpur and for Colt at Navi Mumbai; the 4.5 million sq ft Sattva Knowledge Park in Hyderabad; the L&T Infotech campus at Mahape; and the Tata Trust Cancer Hospital in Varanasi — made operational in ten months and recognised as the fastest hospital steel building constructed in the country. Most recently he headed structural engineering for LakeShore India Management's six-million-sq-ft retail portfolio, including Viviana Mall.
He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering and an M.E. in Structures from the University of Mumbai.

At Vantrock — specification is decided once and paid for over decades. His job is to make sure it's decided by engineering, not by habit.
